How to Hack PSP Games

When the Sony PSP was first hacked, users were able to back up their expensive games. Hacking PSP games in order to play them from the PSP memory stick is a simple process. With PSP memory sticks now capable of storing up to 16GB in data (as of January 2011), you can carry many different PSP games with you as a PSP game has a size limit of 1.8GB.

  Press the "Select" button on the PSP to bring up the visual shell menu (VSH). Select the "USB Device" option until it reads "UMD."

  Insert the PSP game into the PSP's disc drive and connect the PSP to your computer with the USB cable. A window will appear on the computer and you will see a single ISO file.

  Right click the ISO file and click "Copy" from the right click menu. Right click the computer desktop and click the "Paste" button from the right click menu. The PSP game will be copied to the computer hard drive.

  Press the "Select" button on the PSP again and select "USB Device" until it reads "Memory Stick." A window will appear on the computer and you will see the files and folders that are on the PSP memory stick.

  Right click the ISO file and click "Copy" from the menu that appears. Right click the "ISO" folder on the PSP memory stick and click "Paste" to transfer the hacked game to the PSP memory stick.
