How to Build a Component Cable for the PSP

While the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) is generally a hand-held device, you can still connect your PSP to a television through the use of special PSP cables. Therefore, if you wish to connect your PSP to a television's "Component" ports, you can do so by using a combination of the special PSP cables and other equipment.

Things You'll Need

PSP RCA cable
RCA-to-Component converter
Component cables

Instructions

  Connect the PSP end of your PSP RCA cable to the port on the bottom of your PSP.

  Connect the RCA end of the PSP RCA cable to the RCA ports on your RCA-to-Component converter.

  Connect one end of your Component cables to the Component ports on the converter.

  Connect the other end of the Component cables to the Component ports on the back of your television.
- 5
  Turn your television on,and change it to its Component input channel. You should now see the signal from your PSP on the television screen.
