How to Enable Flash Player or WMA on PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) does not come with the ability to play WMA audio files or Flash video content, but you can activate both formats by going into the PSP's recovery menu. After you've done this, the PSP can play both formats.

Instructions

      Turn off the Sony PSP. Hold the "Right" trigger on the device as you power it up again. The recovery menu will appear.

      Select "Registry Hacks" from the list that appears. Select "Activate WMA" to activate the WMA player.

      Select "Activate Flash Player" to activate the PSP's Flash capabilities. Select "Back" and "Exit" to reboot the PSP. When the PSP powers on again, it is WMA and Flash enabled.
