How to Store PSP Video Files on a Memory Stick

The Sony PSP is a portable gaming device that also plays movies and other videos from a memory stick, a removable storage device that plugs into a computer and is accessible in a way similar to a USB thumb drive. After the memory stick is inserted, it is ready to receive files you have saved on the computer's hard drive. Transfer your favorite videos to the memory stick, and enjoy them away from home with the Sony PSP.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug the memory stick into the computer's memory stick slot. USB connectors are available if the computer does not have a memory stick slot.

    • 2

Click the Windows "Start" menu, then click "Computer" to view a list of available drives and devices, including the memory stick.

    • 3

Browse to the memory stick's "Video" folder.

    • 4

Drag and drop videos from the hard drive to the "Video" folder.
