How to Install PSP Windows Fiesta

The Sony PSP is a hand-held video game device that can run many community-made applications. One such application is PSP Windows, also called Windows Fiesta, but is better known by PSPWXP. This application will make your PSP look and operate like a Windows computer via the browser on your PSP. You can make your PSP look like both Windows Vista or Windows XP.

Instructions

      Download PSPWXP (see Resources). Open the folder into your computer. A folder "PSPWXP" will remain.

      Connect your PSP via its USB cable to the computer. The PSP memory card folder will open.

      Copy "PSPWXP" folder to your PSP memory card. Drag your "PSPWXP" folder into your memory card folder to copy it.

      Open your "PSP Browser" program in your PSP. Navigate to the "PSP Browser" icon and click "X" to open it.

      Delete your PSP browser cache. Click on "Settings" icon in the PSP Browser, select "Cache Settings" then click "X". Select "Delete Cache" then press "X" on "Yes" to confirm it. Navigate back to "Cache Settings" click on "Cache Size" then select "Do Not Use" click "X" to confirm.

      Disconnect your PSP from the USB cable. Turn off your PSP. Turn on your PSP.

      Open your "PSP Browser." Type in the address bar "file:/pspwxp/inder.htm" and press "Enter." This will turn on PSPWXP.
