How to Operate PSP ISO Files

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld video game device that can play PSP game backup files. The backup files come in the ISO format and are easily accessible through the PSP's memory stick. A PSP ISO file can have a maximum size of 1.8 GB, and with memory sticks approaching 32GB in size (as of January 2011), you can literally carry around your entire game library with you wherever you go.

    • 4

Go back into the PSP's memory stick from the computer, and right-click the "ISO" folder.

    • 5

Click "Paste" from the menu that appears to transfer the ISO file to the PSP memory stick.

Press the "O" button on the PSP to disconnect the PSP after the transfer is complete.

Select the game from the PSP menu's game section. The PSP will automatically mount the ISO file, making it look like you have inserted the physical game disc into the PSP. After you select the game, the game will start as it normally would with a physical disc game.
