Help With Downloading Music on a PSP

The Playstation Portable (PSP) can play music and other media formats in addition to video games. The PSP Go includes a 16GB hard drive that can hold thousands of songs. Unless you're using the PSP Go, you will need to use a memory stick if you want to download music to the PSP. The PSP supports the following audio formats: MP3, ATRAC, WAV and WMA.

Instructions

      Insert the memory stick into the "Memory" slot on the PSP. If you're using the PSP Go, you can forgo this step.

      Connect the PSP to your computer using the included USB cable. Use the directional pad to scroll to the "Settings" icon on the PSP main menu, highlight "USB Connection" and press the "X" button. The autorun window will open on your computer.

      Click "Open folder to view files." A folder containing all the files on the PSP and memory stick will open. Double-click the "Music" folder. Drag and drop the music you want on the PSP into the "Music" folder.
