Instructions for Connecting a PSP Slim to a TV

The PSP Slim is a portable, handheld video game console designed and built by Sony. In addition to playing video games, the PSP features Internet capabilities and plays multimedia files from memory cards or Sony's proprietary UMD disks. The console is equipped with an audio and video output connection, allowing you to view the multimedia files on a TV with the use of either a component or composite AV cable.

Instructions

      Plug the PSP's cable into the AV output connector on the bottom of the device.

      Connect the phono plugs on the other end of the cable to the appropriate connections on the TV. Both component and composite phono connectors are color coded to match the inputs on the TV.

      Turn on the TV, and switch it to the input to which you connected the PSP. Press the "Input" or "Source" button on the set's remote control to find it.

      Turn on the PSP Slim, and hold down the display button for five seconds. This activates the AV output, and the PSP's display will appear on the TV.

      Press the display button again to exit the PSP's AV output mode.
