How to Get the Agito Weapon on Monster Hunter Freedom 2

The Agito is a mid-level bone greatsword in "Monster Hunter Freedom 2" for the Sony PlayStation Portable. The raw materials required to create it can be found early in the game, making it a good choice for beginning hunters. It can be made either from scratch or by upgrading an Executioner, though the materials to obtain an Executioner are not available until the second half of the game and the materials to create it from scratch are always abundant.

Instructions

From Scratch

  Go to the Mountains or any other zone that is snow covered and hunt Blongangas or Tigrex until you have collected 10 large monster bones. Blongangas and Tigrex will randomly drop them.

  Go to the Jungle during the day and hunt Yian Kut Ku until you have collected 40 medium monster bones. Yian Kut Ku will randomly drop them. Exit and reenter the zone if necessary to repopulate the region with Yian Kut Ku if you defeat them all and still do not have enough bones.

  Go to the Desert and defeat Trenya until you have collected five hard monster bones. Trenya occasionally drops them when defeated.

  Go to the blacksmith in the guild hall and combine the bones to create an Agito. Sell the other items you obtained while harvesting monster bones to accumulate the 25,000 Zenny you will need to purchase the new blade if you do not have that much already.
