The PSP is Not Responding to the Pandora Battery

The Pandora battery, used alongside the Magic Memory Stick on Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP), allows you the flexibility to install custom firmware. By downgrading the original operating system, you can install and run applications and Homebrew games from other consoles on your PSP. Setting up your PSP to successfully use the Pandora battery is easy and doesn't take much time.

Instructions

      Disconnect the AC adapter from the PSP console if it's plugged in. Remove the original battery and memory stick from the console too.

      Insert the Magic Memory Stick that came with the Pandora battery into the memory card slot of the PSP. Insert the Pandora battery into the battery compartment of the console.

      Switch the PSP on using the slide located on the side. At the blank screen that appears after you've switched the PSP on, choose the install option from the list of menus by pressing the "X" button. This will begin the installation of the custom firmware.

      Read and follow the on-screen installation instructions carefully till the custom firmware is fully installed on your PSP.

      Press the "X" button to shutdown the PSP. Once installed, you can now turn your PSP on and start running Homebrew and applications on your PSP.
