Cannot Copy File
If you receive the error message "Cannot Copy File" or "Card Full" it may be that the memory card is write protected. Some Action Replay Memory Cards, such as the Wii Action Replay Memory card, have a small, gray-colored switch. Slide the switch towards the end of the card that has an angled notch and exposed metal contacts to disable the write protection. This step will allow you to save new files onto the Action Replay Memory Card.
Full Card
Check to see if your Action Replay Memory Card is full. If the memory card does not have enough free memory on it, you will not be able to save your game files on the card. Delete the oldest saved data files from the card and then see if you can save on the memory card. If you can't, it may be that your memory card is defective. Go to Datel's customer service site (see link in Resources) and fill out a new complaint ticket or click on "Still Need Help" and select "Email Us" to email customer service and get help with your defective Action Replay Memory Card.
Play Game Error
For some game systems like the Wii, you will need to play the game on the console before you can save. Play or save your game at least once and allow the game to fully load on the "Game Channel" of your Wii before you attempt to transfer a save from your Action Replay Memory card to your Wii. If this remedy doesn't work, delete the saved Action Replay files and change the regional options on the Wii Powersaves software on your computer. Game codes for different regions will not work with your game.
Memory Card Not Recognized
If your Action Replay memory card is not recognized by your computer or gaming console you may receive the "SD Card not found, please connect your memory device" error message. Try to reinsert the memory card, as it may not be seated snugly in the USB slot or memory card slot. When your computer reads the memory card, you will receive an onscreen message and the Action Replay memory card will be listed as a removable drive on your computer. If the Max Media Manager Pro software that you downloaded when you got your Action Replay memory card cannot detect the memory card, click the "Options" tab and then click the box next to "Do not search, SD memory is on the following drive" and select the letter that was assigned to the memory card by the computer. This tells the program where to find the Action Replay memory card on your computer so that it can save files onto it.
