How to Install PSGroove on a TI-84

PSGroove is an exploit for a bug in the PlayStation 3 firmware earlier than 3.55. This exploit allows users to run "homebrew" software on their PS3s. Applications are available to enable the bug on a variety of platforms, including the TI-84 graphing calculator. To use the bug you must install the app on your calculator using the Microsoft .NET framework and the Texas Instruments connection software.

  Download and install the Microsoft .NET desktop framework from the Microsoft Web page.

  Download and install the TI Connect software from the Texas Instruments Web page.

  Plug the TI-84 into the computer using the USB cable that came with the calculator.

  Download the PS3JB software from the brandonw.net site. Select the option to save the file.

  Click the "Start" button on the Windows task bar and select Computer. Choose the Downloads link on the left sidebar.

  Right-click the file you downloaded and select Send to TI Device. Follow the onscreen prompts.

  Disconnect the TI-84 after the transfer is complete.
