Plug the power adapter into the port on the bottom of the headset and connect the other end into a power source to ensure the headset has adequate power.
Check the audio connections to the rear of the Xbox 360. Make sure the optical audio cable is fully inserted into the audio jack on the Xbox.
Examine the audio connection from the Xbox to the headset's audio logic controller. Make sure the audio cable is fully inserted into the port on the controller.
Turn on the Xbox 360 and the headset. Check that the ̶0;Dolby Digital̶1; LED lights up.
Scroll to the "Settings" option on the console menu if you are using the headset with a PlayStation 3. Highlight the "Accessory Settings" option and press "X." Scroll to the "Audio Device Settings" and press "X." Change the "Output" and "Input" to "C-Media USB Audio Device" and press "X."
