Recoiling a Plug & Play Joystick

When it's time to hang up the Plug & Play for the day, there are measures you can take to prolong the device's lifespan. If it's kept among your other electronics, there's a chance that wires can become entangled and suffer unnecessary stress and trauma, or even fall prey to a playful household pet. Given the proper care, your Plug & Play Joystick will remain healthy and functional.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your television. Unplug the A/V cable's male end from the back of your TV.

    • 2

Hold the male end in your left hand. Make a modest loop in a clockwise direction such that when completed, the male end is facing you as your left hand is holding the cable.

    • 3

Take the joystick end of the cable in your right hand and position your fingers on top of the cable and your thumb beneath it. Move your right hand toward your left while turning your right hand in a clockwise motion and hold the top of this second loop with your left-hand fingers. Pull the wire through until the two loops match in size. Continue this looping pattern until the entire cord is looped together, making sure not to twist it.

    • 4

Wrap the twist-tie around the cable when another loop cannot be made. Place Plug & Play in a dry place out of the reach of household pets. Uncoil the cable without twisting it when using the Plug & Play in the future.
