How to Connect X41 to PS3

The Turtle Beach X41 wireless gaming headset is meant for use with Xbox Live, but you can purchase an adapter kit that will allow you to use the headset with a PlayStation 3. To use the X41 to communicate on the PlayStation Network, you will need to connect it to the console using a cable. If you only want to use the X41 for game audio, you don't need a wired connection.

Instructions

  Plug the red and white audio cables leading from the PS3 into the female connectors on the X41 audio cables.

  Plug the male end of the connectors into the red and white audio jacks on your TV if you are using component or composite video connections. If you are using an HDMI connection, skip this step.

  Plug the 2.5mm connector on the adapter into the jack on the bottom of the X41 headphones.

  Plug the 3.5mm microphone and headphone connectors into the USB adapter.
- 5
  Plug the USB adapter into the USB port on the front of the PS3.
