How to Make a Wireless Buzzer

USB buzzers can be used on personal computers with a wide variety of educational or quiz-based software. With a press of the buzzer, the user can indicate that he is ready to answer a question. If you wish, you can turn your USB buzzer into a makeshift wireless buzzer with the assistance of a wireless USB extender.

USB cable (1)
Wireless USB extender

Instructions

  Connect the USB cable extending from your USB buzzer to the USB port on the transmitter component of your wireless USB extender.

  Connect one end of your USB cable to the port on the receiver component or your wireless USB extender.

  Connect the other end of your USB cable to an available USB port on your PC.

  Turn your PC and wireless USB extender on. The PC should immediately recognize the buzzer through the wireless connection. If not, consult your buzzer's manual for further assistance.
