Rather than a standard 3.5-mm stereo jack, the Xbox 360 headset has a 2.5-mm mini jack, similar to that you might find on a cellphone. This can cause a minor problem when you're trying to connect your Xbox 360 headset to other media devices, such as MP3 players, iPods and computers which use 3.5-mm headphones. Instead of investing in a new headset to use on your Mac, you can purchase an adapter that will make it compatible with your Xbox 360 headset.
