Instructions
Set the PS3 controller face down and remove the five screws from the back using a Phillips head screwdriver. Place the removed screws in a plastic baggie and tie it shut - this will keep them together and prevent you from losing them.
Flip the controller upside down and push in the center clip while pulling both sections of the controller apart until the controller is split in half.
Remove the battery from the clips. Look on the motherboard of the controller for three pins just right of the central chip labeled TP17, TP18 and TP20. If the controller does not have these pins, it is not compatible.
Insert the "Intensire" flex board ribbon into the player 3 and player 4 slots at the top right of the motherboard. Remove the tape from the back of the Intensire Chip, and stick it onto of the center chip of the controller pressing firmly so it stays in place.
Clip the battery back in place and tuck the flex board ribbon underneath. Reunite the two sides of the controller and reattach the screws with a Philips head screwdriver.
