How to Connect a Game Talk Headset

Modern video game consoles allow you to connect to the Internet during game play. This can be fun if you want to play video games with people from around the world. During certain games, such as warfare games, you will play alongside a group of other players. In these circumstances it is helpful to be able to communicate with them. The Game Talk wireless headset allows you to do just that via its built-in adjustable microphone.

Instructions

  Press the "Power" button on the side of the headset and an LED indicator light will flash. The headset connects via your PS3's Bluetooth feature, so this light indicates the headset is in pairing mode.

  Use the directional pad on your PS3 controller to scroll to "Settings" in the main menu screen and press "X."

  Select "Accessory Settings" and press "X."

  Select "Register Bluetooth Device" and press "X."

  Select "Headset" from the list of options and press "X." Press "X" again when you see the "Start Scanning" screen prompt. The PS3 will then begin scanning for available Bluetooth devices in the area.

  Select "Game Talk Headset" when the option appears on screen and press "X."

  Enter the passkey when prompted. It is "0000." Select "OK" and press "X." The headset will now be connected to the PS3.
