How to Connect a PlayStation Headset to a PS3 Slim

Sony introduced the appropriately titled PlayStation 3 Slim model to provide a more aesthetically pleasing, toned down version of the original bulky PlayStation 3. The console, with its updated appearance, does not have any extra processing power. Since it operates in the same as its predecessor, synchronizing the Sony's PlayStation headset still requires the same steps. Use the device's USB cable to charge and automatically pair the headset with your console.

     Plug the headset into the PlayStation 3 Slim with the device's USB cable. Allow the device to charge for at least one hour before initial operation. It takes approximately three hours to charge the device fully.

     Turn on the PlayStation 3 Slim.

     Wait for the headset's power indicator to turn green for two seconds.

     Disconnect the USB cable from the headset. The device will automatically pair with the PlayStation 3 Slim every time you turn on both the headset and console.
