Things You'll Need
Instructions
Make sure your PS3 controller is fully charged if it's not responding. If the battery is dead, connect one end of the USB cable into the USB port on your controller, and then connect the other end to an open USB port on your gaming console. Leave the controller connected until it's fully charged.
Make sure your PS3 controller is paired to your system if it's still not responding. To do so, leave the controller connected to your system, and then press the "PS" button. Your system automatically assigns the controller a number. A red light appears over the assigned number on the controller.
Locate the "Reset" button on the back of your controller if it's still not responding. Using a pointed object, press and hold the "Reset" button, and then release it. This automatically restores your controller's settings.
