How to Restart a Pokewalker

A pokewalker is a pedometer that comes bundled with the "Pokemon HeartGold" and "Pokemon SoulSilver" video games. It allows trainers to raise their Pokemon even when they are not in-game. In addition, trainers can also use the pokewalker to transfer Pokemon between games, find items, play mini-games and battle various wild Pokemon. Occasionally, a pokewalker may freeze or run out of batteries. Restarting a pokewalker will restore all Pokemon in your party.

     Turn on your Nintendo DS and press A to start your "Pokemon SoulSilver" or "Pokemon HeartGold" game.

     Press A to select the Pokewalker connection option on the main menu.

     Press and hold "Up", "Select" and "R" on your Nintendo DS to reset and restart your Pokewalker.
