How to Hook Up Sound for Your XBox on an IOGEAR Switcher

The IOGEAR switcher is a device that allows you to connect multiple high-definition devices such as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, HDTV receivers and Blu-ray players to a single HDMI port on your HDTV. Due to the nature of HDMI cables, which transmit audio and visual signals between devices, you do not need individual cables for each type of signal like you would if you were using the red, white and yellow AV cables associated with older consoles.
