How to Connect the Cobra Light Gun to a PS2

Nyko's Super Cobra Light Gun is a PlayStation accessory that allows you to play "Virtua Cop," "Time Crisis" and other compatible games. Although originally for the PS1, this accessory is compatible with the PS2. Unlike normal controllers for the PS1 and PS2, the Super Cobra Light Gun has a video cable in addition to the normal PS2 controller cable. This cable, when used with the PS2's video cable, allows the gun to sense where you are aiming while playing these first-person shooter games.

     Remove the PS2's video cable from its correlating "Video In" port on your TV. The video cable is the one with the yellow color-coded plug.

     Plug the Cobra Light Gun's video cable into your TV's "Video In" port. Note that the yellow plug on the Light Gun's video cable has both a male and female end.

     Connect the PS2's video cable into the female end of the Light Gun's video cable plug. Connect the Light Gun's PS2 controller plug into the Player 1 controller port on your console.
