How to Install the Playstation 3 Eye on a PC

      Download the "CL-Eye" driver. Remember where you save the driver file download so you can retrieve it later for installation.

      Find the downloaded file "CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.1.0501.exe," which should be in the folder you designated before the download process.

      Double-click on the driver file and place a checkmark in the "Terms &Conditions" checkbox to acknowledge the terms of the driver software. Press "Next' to continue with the installation process.

      Wait for the PlayStation 3 Eye driver to finish downloading. Click the "Finish" button to exit the installation screen.

      Unplug your PlayStation 3 Eye device from your PS3 console and connect the USB end of the device into an available USB port on your computer. Your computer should automatically detect the newly connected device.

      Launch a website or program that allows you to use your PlayStation 3 Eye camera. If your PSEye device is the only video source connected to your PC, the program or website will default the PSEye as the primary video source.
