How to Convert European AR Codes to US

When you use the Action Replay Code Manager to download cheat codes to your Action Replay device, the software has two codelist subscriptions to choose from by default: the U.S.A. Action Replay Codelist and the E.U. Action Replay Codelist. If you have accidentally downloaded European codes to your Action Replay device, there is no way to convert them to American codes. However, you can easily delete and replace them with their American equivalents using the Action Replay Code Manager software.

Instructions

  Plug your Action Replay device into your computer with the included USB cable. Launch the Action Replay Code Manager software you use to load codes onto your device.

  Click on the games that you want to switch out for the U.S. versions in the "My Codelists" section of the window. When a game title is highlighted, click the "Delete" button to remove it from the codelist. Repeat for all of the European titles you have saved to the device.

  Click "+" next to the "Official USA Action Replay Codelist" option in the "Subscriptions" section of the software window. This will open up a list of all of the U.S. games and their codes.

  Scroll through the list of games to find the American equivalents to the European codes you deleted earlier. When you find a game with the codes you are looking for, drag-and-drop it from the "Official U.S.A. Action Replay Codelist" to the "My Codelists" section on the left side of the screen.

  Continue moving the game titles until you have replaced all of the European codes. When you are finished, click the "Commit Changes" button above the "My Codelists" section on the left side of the window to save the U.S. game cheats to your Action Replay device.
