How to Fix an Action Replay Glitch

Due to the nature of the Action Replay device, which allows you to cheat at games by actively altering the code within them, glitches can appear in your games that prohibit you from proceeding with key events. If you have experienced such a glitch when using your Action Replay software, your options for fixing the issue are somewhat limited and you may ultimately have to start the game over without using any cheats.

  Delete the code associated with the game that is glitched. Insert your Action Replay device or software into your game console and allow it to load to the Action Replay main menu.

  Go to the Cheats menu, where you will find a list of games associated with your Action Replay. Select the game that is glitched to pull up the list of cheats for that game.

  Delete the code that is causing the problem. If you are not sure which code is responsible for the glitch, delete all of the codes for that game. Highlight the code you want to get rid of and press the "Delete" button.

  Load your game into the console when you have deleted the codes. If the glitch persists, you will need to delete your game save data and start the game from the beginning. The process for deleting game save data varies by console and game, so you will need to consult the respective manuals for each product.
