How to Redo Deleting Codes in Action Replay

If you've ever accidentally deleted a code from your Action Replay device, no matter which version you have, you can always redo the code manually as long as you still have the code written down. If you no longer have the code in hand, check Datel's official website, Code Junkies, where they keep a database of in-house developed and tested codes for all consoles and games that are compatible with the Action Replay. Once you have a hard copy of the code, you can reenter it into your Action Replay.

Instructions

    • 1

Load your Action Replay device into the console with which it is associated and turn on the console.

    • 2

Allow the console to load to the Action Replay home menu. Go to the "Action Replay Codes" menu from the main menu to see a list of games associated with your device.

    • 3

Select the game with the code you want to redo. The process for selecting items in menus vary slightly from console to console -- move the cursor with the directional pad or thumbstick and press the button you normally press to confirm choices. This is generally "X" for Sony consoles and "A" for Nintendo and Microsoft consoles.

    • 4

Select the "Add New Code" option on the game's options screen. Use the virtual keyboard to give the cheat a name that correlates to what the cheat does for you. For example, "Invincibility" and "Infinite Energy" are possible code names. Click "OK" when you are finished.

    • 5

Enter the cheat code exactly as it is written using the virtual keyboard. There will be spaces between groups of characters -- you do not have to enter them because the Action Replay system does this automatically. Click "OK" to save the code.
