How to Reset an Action Replay if It's Not Recognized

The Action Replay MAX GBA is a cheat device for the Game Boy Advance (GBA). The device allows players to input cheat codes for their favorite GBA games. However, you may need to reset your Action Replay device if the GBA stops recognizing it. To reset the Action Replay hardware, you only need to perform a simple action on your GBA.

     Insert the Action Replay device into your GBA and turn the device on.

     Turn your GBA on while holding the "A," "B" and "Start" buttons. Your Action Replay hardware will then be restored to its default settings.

     Let go of the GBA buttons once the reset process begins.
