Instructions for the Intec PS2 Cordless Controller

When the PlayStation 2 (PS2) was released, it came with wired controllers. Many users saw these wired controllers as inconvenient, restricting the distance they could sit from the console, as well as creating a tangled mess when wires would become crossed. Because of these complications, Intec began manufacturing wireless controllers. These controllers eliminated the mess caused by conventional wires and often extended the range past what wired controllers could offer. Though setting up a wireless controller may seem difficult at first, Intec made it extremely easy to set up the controllers.

     Open the back cover of the Intec controller to reveal the battery compartment. Insert the batteries according to the markings within the battery compartment and replace the battery cover.

     Plug the controller's receiver into one of the available controller ports on the PlayStation 2.

     Turn on the wireless controller. It will automatically connect to the receiver and allow the user to begin playing.
