Instructions
Perform a system update for your Action Replay device. At the main menu of each Action Replay device, there is an option for updating the firmware. This is typically a button that says "Update," so highlight and select the option as you would for any other option on the main menu. For example, tap the button with your stylus when using a Nintendo DS or highlight it with the thumbstick and press "X" with a PSP.
Follow the on-screen prompts and instructions for completing the firmware update. Restart your console when the update is complete. If the Action Replay is still not operating properly, check that you have entered the most recent codes properly.
Go to the Games List from the main menu of your Action Replay and select the game that you have most recently updated with new cheats. Select the most recent cheat that you have entered and select "Edit." Confirm that you have entered the cheat correctly by comparing it to the original source. You should enter only cheats supplied by Datel's website or other trusted gaming websites.
Make any necessary changes by using the virtual keyboard to delete incorrect characters in the cheat code. Replace the code with the correct one and click "OK" to save your changes. Launch your game with the altered code. If the Action Replay still doesn't function properly, contact Datel's customer service center for further troubleshooting assistance.
