How to Transfer Pokewalker Paths Between Games

Pokewalkers are small devices that players of Pokemon can carry around with them as they walk around in their daily routines. You can load up to one Pokemon at a time to the device, and the uploaded Pokemon will gain an experience for each few steps you take. The path and number of steps you take are recorded by the device, and is formatted to be compatible with both versions of "Pokemon HeartGold" and "Pokemon SoulSilver."

     Connect the Pokewalker device to your Nintendo DS handheld console.

     Insert a copy of "Pokemon HeartGold" and start a saved game. The game will automatically detect the Pokewalker device and upload the paths you have recently walked in the game.

     Remove the copy of "Pokemon HeartGold."

   • 4

     Insert a copy of "Pokemon SoulSilver" and start your saved game. The device will automatically be detected and will upload any new data to your game.
