• The "Need For Speed" franchise is a series of racing games also released by Electronic Arts for multiple consoles. The franchise blends elements of both simulation and arcade racing. The early games in the franchise focused on racing exotic sport cars on scenic routes, while later games in the franchise involved street racing in an urban setting.
