Insert the Action Replay DS cartridge into the cartridge slot on your Nintendo DS device.
Connect your Nintendo DS to your computer using a USB cable. Turn on your computer and Nintendo DS device.
Launch the Action Replay Code Manager application on your computer. If you can not find the application, click on the "Start" button located in the bottom-left corner of your desktop screen and click on the "All Programs" option from the slide-up menu. Find the Action Replay Code Manager application and click it to open.
Press the "Software Upgrade" button in the top-left corner of the application window. You must be connected to the Internet to perform the software upgrade. The application will begin transferring the updated software to your Action Replay device.
Eject the Nintendo DS from your computer after the software update is complete. Restart your Nintendo DS by turning it off and turning it back on. Before turning your Nintendo DS on, hold the "A" and "B" buttons together.
Continue holding the "A" and "B" buttons after the Nintendo DS is powered on. When the Action Replay startup screen appears, release the "A" and "B" buttons and hold the "Start" and "Select" buttons. This will cause your Action Replay DS to restart with the software update and unbrick the device.
