How to Charge a Nyko Wand

A wireless Nyko Wand controller for Wii is designed to receive power from a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery pack. The battery pack recharges through a magnetic contactless induction charging system on a Nyko Charge Base IC stand. You don't need to remove the battery pack from your Nyko Wand or connect any plugs directly to the controller to charge the battery pack. Instead, you simply place the controller in a cradle on the stand.

Instructions

  Connect the power cord to the back of your Nyko Charge Base IC stand. Plug the AC adapter head on the power cord into an electrical socket.

  Push the "Power" button between the charging cradles to turn on the charge base. If the base is working correctly, the center area should light up indicating that the stand is ready for you to begin charging compatible devices, including a Nyko Wand.

  Align the back of the Nyko Wand with one of the cradles and then simply place the controller against the cradle for the magnetic lock to take effect. The cradle will glow with a color indicating that the device is charging. For example, the cradle on a white stand may turn blue or lavender and the cradle on a black stand will turn red.

  Wait for the charging cycle to end as indicated by the cradle light turning off. Grasp your Nyko Wand, lift it away from the cradle and use it as desired.
