How to Rewire a Guitar Hero World Tour Drumset

The drum kit for "Guitar Hero World Tour" has a series of wires that need to be connected before the instrument can be used. Whether this is the first time you assemble the kit or if you have to rewire it after storage, the process is the same. Other drum kits from the "Guitar Hero" game series can be wired in a similar fashion, but the locations of ports and cables varies slightly from kit to kit.

Instructions

  Assemble the stand for the "Guitar Hero World Tour" drum kit and place the main drum section on the top of the poles. Rest the kick pedal on the bottom of the frame.

  Place the yellow cymbal on the left cymbal pillar and the orange cymbal on the right cymbal pillar. Screw the caps on to the top of each pillar to secure the cymbals in place.

  Insert the plug at the top of each cymbal pillar into the connectors on the underside of the cymbals.

  Insert the purple plug from the kick pedal into the purple kick pedal input socket on the back of the drum set. This is on the right side of the drum kit next to the MIDI input socket.
