Instructions
Remove the broken pedal from the base. The pin to disconnect the pedal is located near the hinge where the pedal and base meet. Place a small screw onto the pin, and gently tap the screw until the pin starts to move out the opposite side. Use a pair of pliers to grab and remove the pin.
Put the pedal back together. Glue the broken section of the pedal using epoxy glue. Place the pedal on a flat surface and leave the glue to set. Allow the glue to dry completely prior to moving the pedal.
Trace the outline of the pedal onto an aluminum sheet after drying. Cut the shape out with a Dremel roto tool. Place the sheet on top of the glued pedal to verify that it is the correct size.
Grind the edges of the aluminum cutout to smooth out any sharp edges. Smoothing the edges avoids scrapes and cuts while playing the game.
Mark on the pedal with the permanent marker to designate screw placement. Six to eight screws are enough to hold the aluminum pedal in place. Drill holes into the aluminum and pedal. The holes should not go through the pedal completely. Insert the screws.
Reattach the pedal to the base by replacing the pin into the hole. Use a hammer to hold the pedal in place.
