Instructions

  1. Troubleshooting Erratic Behaviour

    • 1

Ensure the steering wheel is located in the neutral starting position when the Playstation is turned on. Otherwise, the Playstation will misread the wheel's position as the neutral position and cause the wheel to operate erratically. Reset the neutral position of the wheel by turning off the Playstation, centering the wheel and turning the Playstation on again.

    • 2

Clear any reprogramming by holding down the program button for three seconds until the green LED turns on. Press any button to delete the current function of that button. The green LED will flash. Press the same button again to confirm the deletion of the function of that button. The green LED will turn off.

    • 3

Ensure that the game supports the settings you have made with the steering wheel mode switch. Failure to do this will result in the steering wheel behaving erratically. When you have a mode that works, reset your playstation.

    • 4

Ensure the transmission settings in the game are set to manual. Otherwise, the gearshift stick on the steering wheel unit will not work.

    • 5

Ensure that the acceleration and brake functions are controlled by the "X" and "?" buttons respectively. Consult the game manual for instructions on how to change control pad button functions. The steering wheel unit will always work better set up this way because the "X" and "?" buttons correspond directly to the left and right foot pedals.
