Nyko Intercooler Installation

The Nyko Intercooler is an accessory for the Xbox 360 that is used to cool down the console while it is active. It consists of three fans that improve air flow in the console and help to dissipate heat to stop it from building up. It is useful for consoles that are in an area with a naturally poor airflow, such as cabinets or areas that are tightly packed with other pieces of equipment.

Preparation
- Turn off the Xbox 360 console and disconnect all leads from the back of the console. Remove the wireless network adapter from the console if you have one connected to make the process easier.
Installation
- Plug the male power connector on the Nyko Intercooler into the Xbox 360 power socket on the console. Align the security pins with the vent holes on the rear of the console and clip them into place. Plug the power chord for the Xbox 360 into the socket on the Intercooler and then reconnect all other leads and accessories to the console.
Usage
- Turn the console on and then press the power switch on the Nyko Intercooler. After the Xbox initially powers up, the Intercooler will automatically turn itself on and off when the Xbox 360 is in use and when it is not. The switch on the back of the Intercooler can be used to turn it on and off with each use but this is not necessary.
Removal
- Disconnect the power plug from the intercooler and any other leads or accessories attached to the console that may cause an obstruction. Pull the Intercooler away from the console to remove it. Reconnect everything else that you removed from the Xbox 360 before using it again.
