How to Configure the Triggers on the XBox Controller

Microsoft's Xbox video game console was released in 2001 and was the company's first attempt to create a console. It was also the first console of any kind to feature a built-in hard drive. Many Xbox games allow users to set the configuration of their controllers, including the functions that will be performed by the two trigger buttons located on the bottom of each controller. You can configure the trigger functions for your Xbox controller before starting a game.

     Turn on your Xbox and insert the game you want to play.

     Select the "Options" or "Configuration" option from the game's main menu.

     Choose the function you want each trigger to perform using the game's configuration selector, or choose one of the game's preset configurations. Confirm your trigger configuration according to the screen instructions and return to the main menu to start your game.
