How to Make a PSOne Car Adapter

The PlayStation One (PSOne) is a video game system released by Sony in the mid-1990s. Since its introduction, a portable version of the PSOne, complete with built-in monitor, has also been released. However, to use the PSOne in a car, you must create a power source for the device. You can do this easily by using a DC to AC car adapter.

Instructions

      Insert the power connector from your PSOne into the electrical outlet on the DC to AC adapter. The PSOne car adapter is now constructed.

      Remove your car cigarette lighter from its port. Connect the wire coming from the DC to AC adapter to the cigarette lighter port.

      Turn the car adapter on by flipping the switch next to the adapter's wire.

    • 4

      Turn on your PSOne. You should notice that the "Power" light is on, indicating that the system is active.
