How to Use a Harmonix Guitar As a Game Controller

The Harmonix Guitar Controller is almost entirely compatible with games outside of the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series as a functional controller. Each button on the guitar corresponds with a button on a regular Xbox 360 controller, which is noticeable by the color coding pattern of the buttons. Reasons to play with the Harmonix Guitar instead of a regular controller may vary, but if you are looking for a challenge then the Harmonix Guitar may come in useful.
