Xbox: No Sound From the Headset

While there are multiple types of headset peripherals available to the Xbox 360 console, the method to troubleshoot sound issues is generally the same. The Xbox supports both wired and wireless headsets. The wired headsets rely on the connection through a controller and the wireless headsets connect directly to your Xbox using a 2.4 gigahertz wireless connection. If you are not hearing any sound from your headset, you will need to check the settings on your Xbox. If you are using a wireless headset, you should also reset it to ensure it is properly connected to the console.
