How to Sync the Guitar Hero: World Tour Guitar

"Guitar Hero World Tour" is a music rhythm game where the player uses plastic instruments to match prompts that appear on the screen. A wireless guitar controller is used on each console version of the game and this must be synchronised with the specific console before use. The first stage in this process for each console (excluding the Wii) is to assemble the guitar controller and insert the batteries.

Instructions

  1. PlayStation 2

    • 1

      Connect the wireless receiver unit to controller port one on your console. Turn the console on.

      Press the top fret button on the guitar controller to turn it on

    • 3

      Press and hold the button on the wireless receiver unit, then press the top fret button on the guitar controller to synchronise it.

    PlayStation 3

    • 4

      Connect the wireless receiver unit to the console via a USB port and turn the console on.

      Press the "PS" button on the guitar controller to turn it on.

      Press and hold the button on the wireless receiver, then press the "PS" button on the guitar controller.

    Xbox 360

      Turn on the console.

      Press the "Connect" button on the front of the Xbox 360, located to the right of the "Memory Unit B" slot.

      Press the "Xbox Guide" button on the guitar controller to turn it on, then press and hold the "Connect" button on the bottom edge of the guitar to synchronise it.

    Wii

    • 10

      Turn on the console and press the "Sync" button under the flap on the front panel. Take off the battery cover from the Wii remote and press the red "Sync" button. Replace the battery cover.

      Assemble the guitar controller and plug the connector into the Wii remote.

      Insert the Wii remote into the back of the guitar controller and attach the Wii remote cover.
