Action Replay Max Instructions

The Action Replay Max is "the ultimate game enhancer" for the GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2. Designed to access cheat codes for over a thousand games, the Action Replay device allows users to skip levels, and unlock hidden weapons, items, and characters. However, in order to properly use the device, a memory card for your PS2, GameCube, or Xbox is required.

Instructions

  Plug in an Xbox, PS2 or GameCube controller before turning on the console.

  Insert a PS2, Xbox or GameCube memory card into the designated memory card slot located on the front of the console.

  Insert the Action Replay Max CD into the PS2, Xbox or GameCube tray. Close the tray and wait for the Action Replay menu to load.

  Use the D-pad on the GameCube, Xbox or PS2 controller to navigate through the game title menu. Your most recently played game will appear at the top of the list. If you have no recently selected games, select a game title by pressing the "A" button on the GameCube or Xbox controller, or the "X" button for the PS2. Then select cheats from the game title; highlights indicate the code is activated.

  Press "Triangle" on the PS2 or "B" on the Xbox or GameCube controller to return to the main menu. Select "Start Game" from the Action Replay menu. A screen will appear prompting you to insert the selected game title. You may now start playing with the selected cheats.
