Switch Player Order
The Wii console supports up to four remotes for multi-player gaming. When playing, each controller displays a specific number for each player via the four blue lights near the bottom. This determines player order. To switch player order on the fly, press the "Home" button on the remote. At the menu, select "Wii Remote Settings" and choose "Reconnect." From here, simultaneously hold down the "1" and "2" buttons on the Wii remote you'd like to assign as player one. Once the Wii syncs that remote, hold down "1" and "2" on a second remote; this makes the second remote into player two, and so on for each remote added.
Guest Sync
Normally, players sync remotes to the console by simultaneously pressing the remote's "1" and "2" buttons while holding down the sync button on the console. This action links the remote to the console; if a guest uses her remote on your console in this way, she'll have to re-sync her remote to her own Wii at home. To allow someone to use his own controller as a "guest remote" on your console, use a controller that is already synced to go to the Wii's main menu via the Home button. Select the "Wii Remote" menu at the screen's bottom and then click "Reconnect." All the remotes will now disconnect. Now simultaneously hold down the "1" and "2" buttons on the guest controller and start playing the game.
Un-Sync All Controllers
This secret helps users fix troubles that may occur with syncing new or borrowed remotes to their consoles. Un-syncing in this way makes the Wii completely forget which controllers the console is paired with, allowing the controllers to start over as though they were new. Turn the Wii console off and unplug it from the power outlet. Let the console rest for 30 seconds before plugging it back in and powering it up. When the health and safety warning appears on screen, press and hold the "Sync" button, located under the console's flap, for 15 seconds. The Wii will now have no memory of any synced controllers.
