Instructions

    • 1

Put the recliner in an uncluttered area with ample lighting. You will be adding a lot of accessories to the chair so a spacious location is needed to comfortably operate the finished version of the game chair.

    • 2

Attach the VGA mounting plate to the back of your LCD television. VGA stands for video graphics array, a term used commonly in the computer electronics industry. The VGA mounting plate is used to allow you to mount your television safely to the clamp swing arm bracket.

    • 3

Affix the base of the clamp swing arm bracket to whichever arm of the chair you prefer. It would be better to choose the arm chair that is closer to the wall outlet so that you will be closer to plug your television and video game console in to the wall. Most recliners are a made of a fabric that will not allow you to drill holes and maintain the stability of the arm bracket. Instead, apply heavy-duty glue to the base of the bracket and firmly press it down on to the arm chair. For extra support, wrap the duct tape around the base of the bracket and the arm chair.

Attach the other clamp of the swing arm bracket to the VGA mount that you previously affixed to the back of the television. The VGA mount will facilitate the process of attaching the bracket. Depending on the bracket and mount, you may need to screw or drill them together. Look at the holes of the bracket and mount to determine what size screws to use to attach them together.

Attach the speakers to the chair. Place the left speaker on the left side of the chair and the right speaker on the right side. Wrap the duct tape around the speakers and on to the chair to secure them.

    • 6

Plug in your video-game console and connect to your television. Sit back in your new chair that you have proudly created and enjoy playing your video games like never before.
