Insert the Xbox GameShark installation disc into the computer's CD-ROM drive. Click the Windows "Start" button and "Computer." Double-click the CD-ROM drive, and click "SETUP.EXE." Install the program using the default settings.
Plug the GameShark Xbox memory unit adapter into an open USB port on the computer. Windows will automatically detect the new hardware and load the "New Hardware Installation Wizard." Select "Install from a list or specific location" in the wizard, and click "Next."
Check "Search Removable Media (Floppy, CD-Rom, ...)," and click "Next." Windows will locate the driver on the GameShark installation CD. Click "Next" and "Finish" to install the driver software.
Insert an Xbox memory card into the adapter. Click "Start," and select "Xbox GameSaves" from the "All Programs" list.
Click the "WWW" button to access GameShark.com. Enter the username, password and product key included with the Xbox GameShark, and click "OK." Click "Search," and enter a game title in the "Game Name" text box to view a list of available saved games.
Click the saved game file you want to download. Click the Windows "Start" button, and open "Computer." Double-click the Xbox memory card icon. Drag and drop the saved game file from the GameShark program to the Xbox memory card.
Insert the memory card into the Xbox video game console. Turn it on, and insert the game disc that matches the downloaded saved game file. Select the "Load" option within the game, access the memory card and open the GameShark saved game file.
