With the growing demand for space that gamers require for their handheld gaming devices and mobile phones, the 16 GB Micro Secure Digital High capacity (SDHC) and Memory Stick Micro (M2) mobile memory cards were developed by SanDisk and form part of their "gaming" range. Instructions

Determine which one of the SanDisk mobile game card range is suitable for your mobile gaming device of choice. If you have a PSPGo system, you will need the "Memory Stick Micro" (M2) card. For the normal PSP and PSP Slim range you will need the SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo. And for the Nintendo DSi system, you will require the SanDisk SDHC card. The instruction manual for all of these systems will clearly indicate which memory card type is compatible with your system.

Purchase the SanDisk mobile game card of your choice. Once you have determined which SanDisk card is suitable for your mobile gaming device, you should be able to easily purchase the card from any reputable game shop, mobile shop or online store. Shop around to get the best prices for the product.

Remove the old card from your mobile gaming device. If you already have a memory stick in your device, remove it first by opening the card slot and gently pressing down on the card. It will "click" out with no resistance. Don't apply too much pressure or try to force the card out by pulling it, because this will damage the card and also your gaming device.

    • 4

Insert the SanDisk mobile game card into the appropriate slot on your mobile gaming device. The slot where you need to insert the card will be clearly marked with the logo of the card. Don't force the card; it should slide in easily and then click into place. Close the card slot after you have finished to keep dirt and dust out of your device.

Restart your gaming device. If you are using a brand new mobile game card, you will be prompted by your gaming device to format the card. Just answer yes and the card will automatically be formatted and ready for use. From here you can simply copy your movies, games and music to the card like you would usually do.
