How to Hook Up Video Games to a TV Without Cables

Video game systems can be connected to the television without cables by using a wireless audio and video distribution system. Converters are also available that transmit signals from a computer or another audio/video source to the television. The computer unit or video game console will still need to be connected to the transmitter with cords, but the signal will then be sent wirelessly to any television within range. Using this technology, video games can be played on any television within range without being directly connected by audio-video cables.

  Connect the video game console to the transmitter using the appropriate cable for your gaming system. The source video should be connected to the input transmitter box that will be sending the signal to the television.

  Connect the receiving transmitter box to the television. The transmitter output must be connected to the appropriate audio/video TV inputs that are available.

  Plug in both the sender and receiver units. If you want to distribute the video game signal to multiple televisions that are within the unit's specified range, install additional receivers in all locations where games will be played.
